Neither Judaism nor Islam includes human sacrifice. Judaism did traditionally include animal sacrifice, but I don't think it does any longer. I agree with you.

They recognize Abraham who was ready to sacrifice his son. I do recognize though that Jews do not read that story literally but Islam might. Regards DL

Regards DL Abraham's almost sacrifice of his son was prior to the covenant that established Judaism. God specifically told Abraham to sacrifice foreskins instead as a sign of the covenant.

Regards DL It's weird, and kinda pervy, but it's not human sacrifice. Sacrifice is giving up something of value and Christians point to the suffering of Jesus as part of it. Is our skin not valuable? I think so. Is there pain involved? Yes. Seems to fit the notion of sacrifice. Not to the death, but sacrifice nevertheless. Regards DL
