Agnostic atheism means 1. That they think that the question of god is unknowable 2. They don't believe the claim that "god exists". I think you may be misrepresenting slightly. Positive proof of God is always (theoretically) possible, an agnostic of any kind feels that it has not yet been provided. From Wikipedia : Agnosticism is the view that the truth value of certain claims—especially claims about the existence or non-existence of any deity, but also other religious and metaphysical claims—is unknown or unknowable

From wikipedia :
Agnostic atheism, also called atheistic agnosticism, is a philosophical position that encompasses both atheism and agnosticism. Agnostic atheists are atheistic because they do not hold a belief in the existence of any deity and agnostic because they claim that the existence of a deity is either unknowable in principle or currently unknown in fact.

Working from the assumption of no god it's unknowable, since you can't show evidence for something that does not exist. Working from the assumption that there is a god, if one is agnostic, then it currently unknown but there is the potential possibility of proof. The latter is my position.
