I've never had a debate with a theist in which at any point they actually give me some demonstration, some evidence, of the existence of a supernatural being who apparently created the heavens and the earth. If your god exists there must be some trace of its existence. So far I've found zero, nada, zilch. Can any theist please do me a favour and just prove it?

Theists would say that the universe and life is evidence of a Creator. If that sounds crazy, isn't it just as crazy to say that it decided to create itself?..

I assert that you don't know, neither do I, and that it is not possible to know.

The bottom line is whether to believe Jesus or not. Why would he lie?

So where did the "Creator" come from? And don't tell me, "Oh, He ALWAYS existed." Unless, of course, you some EVIDENCE of that!

The bottom line is whether to believe Jesus or not. Why would he lie? Why would Cthulu or Madalyn O'Hair lie?

Try challenging your own views and your own expectations. What are you looking for? A sign by god saying "I did it"? Good luck.

Many people who are atheists right now were Christians for a long time. Including me, they prayed earnestly and desperately for a God to appear and help them. So do millions of starving, homeless and dying people.
Rather than giving a sign, God should get off his supposedly omnipotent and omniscient ass and do something productive.
Oh, and where's your evidence?

The bottom line is whether to believe Jesus or not. Why would he lie? There is no evidence that Jesus was a real living person. Also, if he did exist, why would he need any reason to lie? Some people are just compulsive liars, I've known a few, they don't even seem to know why they do it, although I expect it is attention seeking in the most part. x

so , I guess we are just going to rehash the same old arguments. YOU Can't prove God exists. and you can prove he don't. I don't see where this gets anyone anywhere. Nobody learns anythings , after the first few debates. No body trys to understand the feelings of each other, I know from "Why Won't God Heal Amputees" that some if not most were Christians at one time or another. So You know how it feels. and you know why you are not Christians anymore and you know that you did not make that decision just because of facts. Something had to have happen to make you FEEL lost or left out or betrayed. So what was it . Of course I could be wrong , but maybe not.

So we need the magic decoder ring like you got. Does it let you communicate with Ra, Neptune, and others?

You want theists to prove it, so you can then apply your blinkered view. You're not asking for proof, you're asking for an excuse to reinforce your belief system. If you really wanted proof you'd seek it yourself. Stop being so lazy.
