I know you some of you might wonder how the topic of intelligent design relates to conspiracy theories. But it strikes me as fairly obvious that a good deal of proponents of ID are claiming that ID is not being given a fair shake within the scientific community. For example, in another thread I found this lovely bit of conspiratorial thinking: ...The scientific establishment (yes, that is precisely what it is) makes it its business to censor that which goes against current thinking. On a more popular level, there's Ben Stein's movie: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expelled:_No_Intelligence_AllowedAnd so, I'm wondering, what exactly is the evidence that the dreaded scientific establishment is unfairly marginalizing ID proponents? The key word there is unfairly. Peace

Biased people making biased judgements. Not addressing the OP.! Seriously, B, these one liner replies are boring me. "Bollocks", "Shut up", "Biased people making biased judgements", "Why would he [Jesus] lie?"- these attempts at counter arguments aren't providing any evidence for their side.

Indeed. I've been very disappointed so far by the quality of most of the theist posts on this board.
