You're misrepresenting their findings. The study shows a possible correlation between perceived competitive disadvantage and attitudes towards rape. They lacked a control condition in which the perceived status of participants was unchanged. They did not carry out experiments in which they dealt with each aspect of status separately. The height of the participants in their sample (disadvantaged group) was taller than they had expected. They did not explore potential mediating factors that may impact upon the relationship between perceived social disadvantage and attitudes towards rape. There were 120 participants in total, which is not an accurate indicator of people in general, of how they might react to their perceived status and how that might affect their attitudes, taking the above limitations into account.

Stop defending potential rapists.

I'm not sure what this has to do with evolution, creationism or ID.

The study explores a concept put forward by evolutionary theorists on competitive disadvantage affecting sexual behaviour.

Ok. I was going to move it to off topic but if it's how you say then I'll keep it here. Carry on.

I'm not sure what this has to do with evolution, creationism or ID. If you bothered to click the link you'd see "Evolutionary Psychology" right at the top of the page.
